By using KnowMe you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
The service
KnowMe is a platform for meaningful connections. It is currently in private beta and may change significantly. You must be 18 or older to use KnowMe.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: impersonate another person, harass or abuse other users, upload illegal or harmful content, attempt to reverse-engineer the AI or the matching algorithm, or use automated tools to interact with the platform.
Content you share
You retain ownership of content you share. By sharing it, you grant KnowMe a limited licence to store and display it to your match as part of the service.
Subscription and pricing
Your first match cycle (up to 15 days) is free — no card required. Continued use requires a subscription (La Tessera): €7.90/month, €20.70/quarter (€6.90/mth), or €70.80/year (€5.90/mth). VAT included. Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Subscription grace period
If your subscription expires while you have an active match, a 3-day grace period applies automatically. During this period you can read and reply to existing rounds, but cannot open new rounds. If you renew within 3 days, access is fully restored. You will not receive countdown or urgency notifications.
Matchmaking waitlist
After three consecutive failed matching attempts, your account is automatically placed on a 7-day waitlist with progressively relaxed compatibility thresholds. If no match is found within 7 days, you receive an invitation to refresh your profile. KnowMe does not guarantee a match within any specific timeframe.
One match at a time
KnowMe intentionally limits you to one active match at a time. This is a product decision, not a restriction subject to dispute.
Match termination reflection (optional)
When a match ends, you may optionally receive a one-time AI-generated private reflection. This requires bilateral consent from both parties. It is delivered silently in the app — no push notification, no email — and can never be shared between match participants.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
KnowMe is provided as-is during the beta period. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Italian courts.
