KnowMe uses a small number of carefully selected sub-processors. Our default is to self-host. Where third parties are used, we apply strict data boundary rules.
AI providers
Azure OpenAI EU (pii-strict roles: interviewer, profile builder, mediator) · Anthropic Bedrock EU (pii-pseudonymous roles: compatibility evaluator, safety reviewer) · OpenAI US (public roles: marketing copy, visual direction only — no user personal data).
Payments
Stripe Payments Europe (Ireland) or Paddle.com Market Limited (UK) — depending on your region. Either acts as Merchant of Record and handles VAT compliance.
Mobile infrastructure
Expo Inc. (EAS Build, OTA updates, push notification routing). Sentry (crash reporting — no personal data in payloads). BrowserStack (QA testing only, no production data).
Self-hosted (no external transfer)
PostgreSQL, Redis, MinIO, Listmonk, OTEL Collector, Prometheus/Loki/Tempo/Grafana — all on KnowMe's own infrastructure in Italy.
