KnowMe follows a cookieless-first approach. We use the minimum number of cookies necessary to operate the service — and our analytics do not require any consent banner.
Session cookie (strictly necessary)
We use a single HttpOnly, Secure session cookie (`__Host-session`) to authenticate your login. Without it, the application cannot function. It is exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive.
No third-party tracking
KnowMe does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising network cookies, or any cross-site tracking technology.
Analytics: Plausible (cookieless)
Our landing page uses Plausible Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool hosted in the EU. Plausible does not collect personal data or track you across websites. No consent banner is required.
Mobile app
The KnowMe app does not use browser cookies. Authentication uses a secure token stored in device secure storage.
Managing cookies
You can delete the session cookie by logging out of KnowMe, or via your browser's privacy settings. Deleting it will log you out.
