Get to know someone
before you see them.
One match at a time. Fifteen days to really know someone — words first, image last.

Dating apps make you judge in 3 seconds.
We ask for 15 days.
How it works
Three distinct phases. Each one has a purpose.
-
Tell us who you are.
Onboarding isn't a form. It's a conversation. Calibrated questions, asked over time, help us understand your values, what you're looking for, and how you connect.
"Do you prefer being right or being understood?"
-
No catalogue.
While you live your life, we look for the right person. One match at a time, based on deep compatibility — not stated preferences. A notification arrives.
"We found someone for you."
-
The image is earned.
Your conversation, your pace. Shared questions give you a place to start. Text, then voice, then photo — every detail unlocks when it makes sense. As the conversation deepens, the abstract avatar that represents your match quietly evolves — not a face, but a sign that something real is building.
Progressive disclosure
The image doesn't disappear — it's earned. Like in real life. Alongside the disclosure schedule, an abstract avatar quietly shifts as conversation deepens — a visual reflection of genuine connection, not a portrait.
- Days 1–3
Text only
Answers to shared questions. No photo, no bio. Just words.
- Days 4–7
A biographical detail
Each person chooses what to reveal. A piece of yourself, chosen with intention.
- Week 2
The voice
An audio message. Hear how they speak, not just how they write.
- Week 3+
The face
A photo you choose — not a public profile. You decide together whether to meet.

Content moderation, reporting, and disclosure freeze if something goes wrong.

Frequently asked questions
-
Your first match is always free — no card required. After that, plans start at €7.90/month. See pricing for full details.
-
Your onboarding answers shape a private picture of what matters to you — your values, what you're looking for, how you connect. We use it to find one compatible person. You never see a catalogue. You receive a single match notification when we're confident there's genuine compatibility.
-
Intentional scarcity creates intentional attention. When you can swipe through hundreds of people, nobody gets your full presence. One match at a time means you actually show up.
-
Around day 15 of your match — after text, a biographical detail, and voice. The photo is exchanged only when both people feel ready, never as a condition to start connecting.
-
Your data is yours. We never sell it, share it with advertisers, or expose your compatibility data. It is used exclusively to find you a compatible match. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing privacy@gianlucamazza.it.
-
KnowMe is finishing its final beta tests. Join the waitlist and we will notify you the moment it launches on your platform.
-
Only if you explicitly opt in to Sensitive Categories Profiling during onboarding. If you do, the interviewer may explore these topics — but the signals collected are stored separately and stripped before reaching the matchmaking AI. They are never used as direct matching criteria. You can revoke this consent at any time.
-
A 3-day grace period applies automatically. You can continue reading and replying to existing conversation rounds. Opening new rounds is suspended until you renew. You will not receive urgent or countdown notifications — just a single informational notice.
-
After three consecutive failed attempts, your account is placed on a 7-day waitlist with progressively relaxed compatibility criteria. If no match is found within 7 days, you receive an invitation to refresh your profile before the next attempt. KnowMe does not guarantee a match within a specific timeframe.
-
Yes — optionally. When a match ends, you can select 'I'd like a reflection' in the post-match feedback. Both participants must opt in. If they do, each receives a private, one-time AI reflection — never shared with the other person. It appears silently in the app; no push notification or email is sent.
-
Yes. Under GDPR Art. 22, you have the right to request human review of any match you believe resulted from an automated decision error. Email privacy@gianlucamazza.it and we will review the match audit record.
-
Never between 22:00 and 08:00. KnowMe observes quiet hours and does not use countdown timers, badge counters, or urgency copy. You will hear from us when something genuinely matters. Async gestures — like letting your match know you thought of them — are also delivered the morning after, never in real time.
-
No — it's a deliberately non-representational shape that evolves as the conversation deepens. The real photo unlocks around day 15, and only if you both choose it. The avatar is a signal of depth, not a face.
-
Yes, once a day. The gesture is delivered the following morning — there's no 'online now', no 'read at 14:37'. Just a quiet signal, when the moment is right.
